Inspection Policy

 

This policy outlines the terms and limitations of inspection services provided by Bayou Fab & Service for customers purchasing equipment or vehicles remotely.

1. Purpose of Inspection

Our inspections are conducted to provide a visual, functional, and mechanical overview of the unit’s condition at the time of inspection. The goal is to give remote buyers an honest assessment before purchase.

2. Scope of Inspection

Inspections may include, but are not limited to:

• Walkaround & visual assessment

• Startup & basic operational testing

• Fluid level & condition checks

• Tire/wheel/hub inspection

• Frame/rust/structural integrity

• VIN & title verification (if requested)

• Photos and/or video documentation

Note: We do not disassemble components or perform load testing unless specifically arranged beforehand.

3. Limitations & Liability

• This is not a warranty or guarantee.

It’s a snapshot of the unit’s condition at the time of inspection.

• Bayou Fab & Service is not responsible for:

• Hidden or intermittent issues

• Damage occurring after inspection

• Transport or purchase-related decisions

• No liability is assumed for mechanical failure post-inspection.

4. Inspection Report Delivery

• Reports are delivered digitally (PDF, photos, videos, etc.).

• We aim to deliver within 24–48 hours of inspection unless otherwise noted.

5. Customer Responsibility

• Customer is responsible for:

• Providing accurate seller contact info

• Coordinating access to the equipment

• Making the final decision on purchase

• We do not negotiate or coordinate transport unless separately contracted.

6. Fees & Cancellation

• Inspection fees must be paid in advance unless other terms are agreed to in writing.

• Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled inspection may incur a service fee.
